Soaring Solaire
Overview
Soaring Solaire is a difficult but rewarding 2D platformer inspired by the hit 2020 game Jump King. It was developed in my first year of university with C++ and the SFML library, over the course of 10 days; Serving as a valuable oppurtunity to learn many new skills.
Key Features
- A fully controllable player character with a unique jumping mechanic.
- A scene manager allowing seamless switching between the title screen and gameplay.
- An audio system featuring several sound effects.
- An 8 bit rendition of the dark souls soundtrack by CrimsonCobalt.
